Welcome to Hacklopedia, the premier and only fan site dedicated to the HackMaster 4th Edition rule system and other fantasy role playing games.. We will happily publish items for other HackMaster editions and FRPG rules, but exist to support HackMaster 4th Edition, the Greatest Fantasy Role Playing Game Ever!
Some of the resources we offer are:
This is a handy reference to be used to speed up your games or provide information when you don’t have reference books handy. It is NOT meant to be a replacement for the Player’s Handbook, Spellslinger’s Guide to Wurld Domination, HackJournals, or any other game material. We’re starting with the core low level spells from the Hackmaster Player’s Handbook and will be adding spells as time permits.
Here you’ll find a variety of resources such as pregenerated random encounters, a supplement to Little Keep on the Borderlands, generic maps, NPCs, and other Game Master resources.
A gallery of painted gaming miniatures, painting, modeling, and photo tips, interviews with industry notables and more are here.
Download FREE music for inspiration during game play or development. Submit your music if you have your own!
Reviews of game related materials, links to suppliers, and links to other game resources such as the HackMaster Forums.
Upcoming projects:
Madog is writing an adventure module for characters level 2-3.
It can be played as part of Little Keep or another campaign. We will submit the adventure to Kenzerco when it's finished.
Update: this is finished, has been submitted, and looks like a go!
Madog has created "The Averoigne Gazetteer".
This was originally started as a supplement to the popular and well-intentioned but incomplete X2: Castle Amber, but will encompass as much of Clark Ashton Smith's Averoigne setting as can be converted to game terms, complete with maps, city information, plot hooks, wandering monsters, and evn new monsters and magic! It may be complete in 2011, and will be a free download on Hacklopedia.com. Until then, advance copies are available by email request.
The Gazetteer is written for the HackMaster 4th Edition rule system but will be easily portable to any old school FRPG.
The miniature gallery will continue to be updated, and any material submitted will be posted.
